Booking policies

How booking works

All stays are requests. Nothing is charged until we approve your dates and both you and 14 Katie Lane LLC sign the lease agreement electronically.

Payments

• 50% of rent and the refundable security deposit are due when the lease is signed.
• The remaining 50% of rent is due 30 days before arrival. Stays booked within 30 days of arrival are paid in full at signing.
• Payment by bank transfer (ACH) or wire has no fee. Credit cards carry a 2.9% fee, shown as the credit card price before you pay. Debit cards have no fee.
• A cleaning fee of $600 applies to each stay.

Security deposit

A refundable security deposit (usually $5,000, stated in your lease) is paid by bank transfer or wire and returned within 14 days after checkout, less any itemized charges for damage or missing items.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancel 90 or more days before arrival for a full refund. Cancellations within 90 days of arrival are not refunded. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.

House rules

• Check-in from 4:00 PM, checkout by 11:00 AM.
• No events or parties.
• No outdoor music after 9:00 PM.
• Dogs welcome with prior approval, no pet fee.

Privacy

We use your contact details only to manage your stay and communicate with you about it. Card and bank details are handled by our payment processor, Stripe, and are never stored by us.
